Comedy, history, politics, religion, art and literature – there’s something for everyone at this year’s Monmouth Women’s Festival.

At our fifth Festival, women of international and national standing are coming to Monmouth. Be entertained and challenged by comedienne Helen Lederer, political headliner Ann Widdecombe MP, or Professor of Islamic Studies Mona Siddiqui. You could wander into wartime history with Professor Deirdre Beddoe, or drool over Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell on the silver screen. Enter the world of television with BBC Wales’ Sarah Dickins, or learn a new craft at our special exhibition. See the skills of local artists or hear about the writer’s life with AV Denham.

Join us – whether you’re young, old, male or female – to celebrate the lives, creativity and achievements of women, marking International Women’s Day on 8th March.

Tickets from:

  • The Nelson Museum, Priory St, Monmouth (from 1st February)

  • the Blake Theatre Box Office (01600 719401) for Ann Widdecombe and Helen Lederer.
